ARIA TECH GAS results from the combined expertise of Tecniplast, known for manufacturing Biosafety Cabinets, and TEMSEGA, specialized in gas anaesthesia systems.
ARIA TECH cabinets feature a dual configuration (CS and Biohazard working modes), ensuring the safety of personnel and the environment while protecting animals during both cage-changing procedures and microbiological activities.
What makes this cabinet unique is its design, specifically crafted to perform surgeries on animals.
ARIA TECH GAS includes Minihub gaseous anaesthesia system from TEMSEGA, which is fully integrated within the cabinet work chamber, saving space and simplifying procedures. Anaesthesia controls are incorporated within the work chamber, minimizing the operator’s hand movements in and out the working area, and so the potential risk of animal contamination. Parameters for the induction and maintenance phases can be easily set and monitored by the 7’’ touch screen control panel. To keep animals anaesthetized during surgery, both pre-set and customizable anaesthesia programs are available, providing the most suitable amount of anesthetic gas for different animal models and studies. Furthermore, vitals, such as the animals’ body temperature, are monitored with the aim of improving animal welfare during long and potentially painful interventions.
ARIA TECH GAS is available in two sizes: ARIA TECH48 GAS (4ft / 1.2m) and ARIA TECH60 GAS (5ft / 1.5m). Cabinets can be equipped with two surgery stations, each consisting of:
The vaporizer is available in two different sizes, with liquid capacities of 150mL or 300mL, while the induction chamber is embedded in the working surface as standard.
Other noteworthy cabinet features are the separated and automated gas inlet and outlet flow rates, managed at the pollution source (induction chamber and masks) with dedicated filters outside the cabinet. Moreover, electronics and servicing for the cabinet and anaesthesia system are completely independent, allowing easy access for any required maintenance and annual service.
In addition, ARIA TECH GAS features a mobile base with electric auto-lift system for ergonomic height positioning and easy transport.
