“Current Gnotobiology Trends - Bio-exclusion Housing and Incorporation of Home Cage Monitoring, the Added Value for Animal Modeling” is the new Webinar planned for October 6th, 2022, at 4:00 Pm CEST

2 important speakers, Betty Theriault (DVM, DACLAM) –title of her presentation will be: “Gnotobiology Model Development and Maintenance Requirements, Current Trends and Future Visions”  and John Hasenau (DVM, DACLAM) with a presentation titled “Pandemic Use of Home-Cage Monitoring Systems:  Translational Research value and needs”, moderated by Stefano Gaburro, PhD, will show gnotobiology new opportunities post pandemic and how non- invasive home cage monitoring models can improve their translational value in Gnotobiology.

This webinar will show how Gnotobiology has an ongoing exponential increase usage in studies for many purposes. This Webinar will show trends, reasons and visions of gnotobiology research in the coming years.

The webinar will also show how:

  • gnotobiotic mouse models are being rapidly developed and how the critical biosafe housing of these very valuable models is required.
  • additional non -invasive home cage monitoring of these models may improve their translational value. Monitoring of locomotor activity patterns (24/7) can be used as diagnostic tools for research.

During the webinar important and interesting example will be presented.
