"1. Overview
The installation of the Tecniplast Alpha Rack Washer was completed successfully, and the overall experience from planning through to commissioning was highly positive. From the outset, Tecniplast provided valuable support and guidance, contributing significantly to the smooth progression of the project.

2. Planning and Pre-Installation Support 
Tecniplast’s early-stage involvement was crucial in helping us prepare a robust internal report. Their provision of detailed information regarding sustainability, energy efficiency, and cost savings allowed us to make an informed decision without needing to enter a full tendering process. This saved considerable time and administrative effort.

Multiple planning meetings were held with Tecniplast’s project manager, Dan, and our Estates and Facilities (E&F) team. In retrospect, additional technical details—particularly around the valve requirements and associated lead times—would have benefited our internal teams. The delay experienced was primarily due to enabling works that were the responsibility of our Estates department.

3. Installation Process 
The installation team from Tecniplast demonstrated professionalism throughout the project. The engineers were courteous and respectful, ensuring that all packaging and waste materials were promptly cleared from the site each day, minimising disruption to surrounding operations.

4. Equipment Performance
Since installation, the Alpha Rack Washer has performed exceptionally well. It delivers excellent cleaning results—even on the medium wash setting. This is particularly impressive given that our cages must be autoclaved before washing, often resulting in baked-on debris. Despite this, the washer handles them efficiently and consistently.
